Take your internal demos for a walk outside

I have done a lot of internal demos over the years, but there’s one that I still think back to. 🤳☀️

Doing a demo among colleagues you trust is a really awesome experience. There is always an exciting energy in getting feedback, whether it’s on a rough draft, an early prototype, or a polished feature already out in production.

Wondering how it is working? Why we didn’t do it in another way? What the next step is? You got it!

But among all demos there is one I still remember particularly well.

My team wanted to really tell the story that everything we built was usable on a small device, not only on a large desktop computer in an office. And this feature that we wanted to show to the company was especially useful for people to use on their phone while on the go.

So I decided to go for a walk in the sunshine. And demo it while I walked.

Fun times! I think we really showed that you could use the feature anywhere, and we got a lot of really good follow-up questions.
