Travel to eat together with your colleagues

I still think the opportunity to eat together is one of best reasons to travel and meet up with colleagues in person. 🍱

Almost all larger companies today are distributed. People work in different locations across the country and around the world.

Thankfully, we now have the technology to collaborate closely and get work done together. Sometimes it is even easier and more powerful.

But eating together, in the same physical space, is something different.

It is a remarkable way to create and maintain connections across an organization. And it is extremely hard to replicate across locations.

So today I’m heading to Malmö for the day. Early morning. Late evening.

Mostly to have lunch and chat. Exactly the right reason.
